How to Join the Clearinghouse

  1. Sign the standard Clearinghouse participation agreement.
  2. Once the agreement has been executed, we'll instruct you in how to send us an electronic file containing a few basic data elements for your borrowers (i.e., name, Social Security Number, enrolled/not enrolled status, OE code of school last attended).

Your borrower records will be maintained in our database, along with the enrollment records of more than 3,100 US colleges and universities.

Participation Fees

Guarantors, lenders, and servicers pay a monthly fee based on the number of their borrowers who are or have attended participating Clearinghouse colleges and universities. Guarantors that participate in our automated Total Enrollment Reporting process will save 22% on their monthly enrollment reporting fees.
